The Space Hop challenge is taking place across all our libraries this summer to encourage children to read six books over the holidays.
From 26 July until 5 September there’ll also be a range of free Space Hop events in all our libraries.

There’ll be children’s activities in the Grainger Market’s Grainger Arcade every Wednesday throughout the school holidays. The Quayside Sunday Market is a great way to spend a sunny Sunday with children’s activities there too. It takes place every Sunday between 9.30am to 4pm.
We’ve got indoor museums like the Hancock and outdoor museums like Bede’s Worlds. There’s something for the budding scientist at the Discovery Museum and for the archeologist at Segedunum. Are you 8-13 years of age? Do you want to get involved with wildlife conservation and learn about nature in your summer holidays? Then the Nature Club may be just for you!
