Dignity Week (July 26 – 31) is when we aim to highlight the importance of treating everyone in the city with dignity.
The Newcastle Dignity Network will be hosting a series of information events, designed to highlight issues around treating everyone with respect. The network began four years ago, primarily aimed at people in adult and social care.
During the week members of the public can find out more about the aims of the network and how to join.
Events will start at Newcastle City Library on July 26 when there will be stalls and volunteers talking about issues around dignity.
Similar events also take place at the Civic Centre on July 27, the Royal Victoria Infirmary on July 28 and the Mela on July 31.
