All admission authorities must have admission arrangements for those schools for which they are responsible (the Local Authority for community and voluntary controlled schools and the governing bodies of voluntary aided schools).

Admission arrangements for 2011-2012 have been consulted on and determined for all maintained schools in Newcastle. These are the admission arrangements and details of how Newcastle City Council will co-ordinate the application process for entry to reception classes and transfer to secondary school.

Any person may raise an objection to the admission arrangements under regulation 9(1)(c) within regulation 8(c) of The School Admissions (Alteration and Variation of, and Objections to, Arrangements) (England) Regulations 2007. Objections should be sent by 31 July 2010 to:
